Ensuring Security of Agricultural Products and This report describes the status of security of agricultural products, and analyzes the insecurity risk, also provides measures to ensure security, points out the problems and the developing trends of the research of early-warning of security, introduces the main functional models and key technologies of the Platform of Intelligent-Analysis and Early-Warning for Security of Agricultural Products. Currently, China faces many challenges of security: the continuous growth of food demand, the difficulties of enhancing crop production capacity, the extensive market risk for livestock product, structure unbalance among varieties and regions, the close interacts between domestic and international markets, the deeper and deeper impacts of international capital and enterprises and so on. However, there are also some problems in the early-warning research of security, such as lagged and incomplete information, inaccurate and unpractical results. Agricultural Information Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences is developing “Platform of Intelligent-Analysis and Early-Warning for Security of Agricultural Products”. This platform will solve and integrate many key technologies, including identify and access the early risk of agriculture production, estimation of substitutes of food consumption, evaluation of coordination between supply and demand, simulation of price transmission, selection of indexes of alarm, intelligent early-warning, adoption of agricultural market full information and monitor and other technologies. The main objectives are to realize intelligent early-warning the security of major agricultural products and provide technology support for ensuring food security. |
