Prof.Zhang and Prof.Tuo Visited and Communicated in the U.K

       Prof. Qiao Zhang (Partner 1) and Prof. Guozhu Tuo (Partner 2) visited and communicated in the University of Nottingham of U.K. from  May 13 to  June 1, 2008.

       During the visiting in U.K, Prof. Zhang and Prof. Tuo visited the University of Nottingham, Oxford University, Cambridge University, Manchester University and The Bank of England, and they had communicated on “The Management for Market Risk” with Prof. Wyn Morgan of School of Economics and on “The Overview of Agricultural Insurance in British” with Prof. Stephen Ramsden, the professor in School of Bioscience in the University of Nottingham. Upon completion of visit and study, the Chinese partners have a good, in-depth understanding of futures, option, and cash market contracts as risk management tools, and have acquired the necessary knowledge and understanding to incorporate basic risk management strategies into marketing plan.
